The General Directorate of State Airports Authority (DHMİ) will update passengers on the latest news about delayed and canceled flights via mobile phones, thanks to its new mobile application. Those who download the application will also be informed about the latest status of the runway as well as obtaining information about taxi services and the weather. According to the statement released by the DHMİ's official website, the application has been released in AppStore, Google Play Store and Windows Market. The users are able to download the app free of charge. The application which was developed by the DHMİ Information Technologies Department will grant access to the latest news about the airport, as well as display videos and announcements.
