The chief prosecutor of Istanbul has issued orders for the detention of 121 members of a relief organization on suspicion of having links to the Gülenist Terror Group (FETÖ), the prosecutor's office announced Tuesday.

According to the office, Istanbul police launched an operation in 18 Turkish provinces to detain members, including the director of the humanitarian aid organization "Kimse Yok Mu", which means "Is anybody there" in English.

The suspects are accused of being members of an armed terrorist organization, violating terror financing law, laundering of illegally acquired properties and contravening the law of associations.

The organization had in the past several years collected money from people for the Qurban Bayram (Feast of the Sacrifice), also known as Eid al-Adha.
