Turkish State Meteorological Service announced Saturday that southwester storm is expected throughout the day in Marmara region and Istanbul.
The statement said that southwester winds will blow at a speed of 50 to 75 kilometers per hour, and will cease to be effective in the evening.
Beşiktaş-Üsküdar, Kadıköy-Kabataş, Kadıköy-Beşiktaş and Kabataş-Kadıköy-Princes Islands ferry lines were cancelled. IDO's ferry services between Istanbul's districts were also cancelled.
Intercity ferry services of Istanbul Sea Buses (IDO) were cancelled until 2:30 p.m. and Bursa Sea Buses' (BUDO) services were cancelled until further notice.
