Alleged FETÖ judge fled to Greek island in refugee boat


A Turkish judge affiliated with the Gülenist Terror Group (FETÖ) is believed to have traveled to Chios illegally and asked for asylum from the Greek government, according to Greek officials.It was reported that the judge, who is around 50 years old, arrived on the coast of the Greek island in a dinghy along with six Syrian migrants at 6 a.m. on Tuesday. After being arrested for illegally entering the country, the Turkish judge is said to have asked for political asylum. The judge, whose identity has not yet been revealed, will be transported to Athens to appear before a court.Previously, eight pro-coup officers fled to Greece by hijacking a helicopter belonging to the Turkish Military. Moreover, a total of seven Turkish citizens who are suspected of being FETÖ members entered Greece illegally and demanded political asylum on Aug. 25.
