Turkish court opens probe over its kidnapped nationals


Turkey's Chief Public Prosecutor in Ankara launched an investigation after Islamic State of Iraq and Levant (ISIL) militants in Iraq kidnapped 49 Turkish consulate staff and 31 truck drivers on Wednesday, officials said.The investigation was opened on Thursday and will be carried out by the Constitutional Crimes' public prosecutor Sadik Bayindir on behalf of the Bureau of Investigation.According to Turkish Law, the ISIL attack is defined as a 'terrorist' attack.
