Türkiye's new Altay main battle tank ready for army tests

The Altay tank, which has been renewed and has now reached the mass production stage, is being prepared for delivery to the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) for tests on April 23.

The Altay tank gained new capabilities from its original design and started serial production with a power pack supplied from abroad, undisclosed location, Türkiye, April 4, 2023.

Plans are for mass production of the Altay tank to continue with a domestic engine from the second half of 2026.
