Türkiye's Kaş offers majestic underwater adventures for divers

The Kaş district in Türkiye’s southern Antalya province has become a hub for diving lovers, offering opportunities for professionals and amateur diving enthusiasts.

With its clear blue waters, and rich underwater flora and fauna, Kaş has become a hit among divers.

Its artificial reef, which was created in the Güvercin Ada region in 2017, offers divers a view of the 1960-model U.S.-made tank, located at a depth of 15 meters (49.2 feet).

Tens of thousands of tourists also dive to see the submerged Dakota fighter jet.

Kaş District Mayor Mutlu Ulutaş told Anadolu Agency (AA) that they have been hosting athletes from various countries.

Some 120 athletes from 39 countries recently participated in the 6th Freediving World Championships organized off Inceboğaz.
