The Turkish municipality of Bursa restored the 2,300-year-old prison complex of Zindankapı.
The space now hosts a variety of exhibitions. This time it is Deniz Sağdıç's (C) "Döngü," meaning "cycle" in Turkish.
Sağdıç uses objects tossed into the trash and discarded by society to create stunning pieces.
This particular exhibition focuses on denim fabrics, pointing to the exorbitant waste that fast fashion is causing.
Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu visits the exhibition on its opening day, Feb. 13, 2022.

Beneath each of the pictures, a pile of scrap fabric can be found, showing what raw materials went into the piece.
