BMC announces winners of “Research in progress” photo competition

The UK-based scientific publisher BioMed Central (BMC) announced Friday the winners of its first "Research in progress" photography competition, publishing the inspiring images on its official website.

According to BMC, the photographs were evaluated in four categories: people at work, close-ups of equipment, plant and animals and microscopy.

Winner: "I Heart Research"
