Giant cats or just tiny buildings? Felines take over miniature park

The miniature park in Antalya's Kepez district offers an experience of miniature architectural works from different parts of Turkey and a home for the ever-present cats of Turkey.

Over 10,000 square meters (12,000 square yards) the park is home to 84 landmarks reproduced on a 1/25 scale.

Making it among one of the most popular destinations in Antalya's Kepez district.

The park is built on Antalya Yarn and Cotton Weaving Factory area, whose activities were stopped by Kepez Municipality in 2003.

And was turned into museum and activity area in 2015.

While the miniatures don't have an interior for the cats to hide in, they use them to protect them from winds.

Or just use them as to scratch that one spot they can't quite reach.

When the sun is shining they love to explore the intricately prepared miniatures.

Which seems to be a popular spot for the felines.

Sitting smack in the middle of an exhibit is a cat, like it is owning the place.

And while some like to sprawl out in the sun some cats use the shade of the buildings to enjoy their time.
