Citizens in the Turkish capital Ankara woke up to snowfall on Dec. 24, 2020, which began in the early hours of the morning.
Following a dry autumn, the highly anticipated snowy weather descended on the capital, painting the city white within hours.
Dozens of people ran to the streets to play in the snow and throw snowballs with kids.
Some citizens had to scrape ice and clear snow off of their cars before heading off for the day.
