Stoke City enquire about Galatasaray's Ndiaye

Stoke City have made an enquiry about Galatasaray midfielder Badou Ndiaye, according to Sky Sports News. Ndiaye has been playing in Turkey since August 2015, initially joining Osmanlıspor and then completing a transfer for around 7 million euros to Galatasaray last summer.

The 27-year-old, who plays as an attacking midfielder, was also part of the Senegal side which reached the quarter-finals of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations. He had spent the previous three seasons playing in Norway and was a regular goal scorer for Bodo/Glimt, first on loan and then signing on a permanent deal.

Stoke are continuing to seek reinforcements despite being without a manager, having sacked Mark Hughes last weekend after their FA Cup third-round defeat at the hands of League Two side Coventry City. The Potters signed Austria right-back Moritz Bauer from Russian side Rubin Kazan on Tuesday on a four-and-half-year deal.
