UK's League Two club Crawley Town is set to be bought by a Turkish investor as contracts between the two parties are expected to be exchanged in the next 24 hours.
According to a statement on the West Sussex club's website, 'a deposit for the proposed sale of the club had been received by the British club's solicitor' and a confirmation of the deal could come very soon.
Ziya Eren, the president of Turkish first division side Kayseri Erciyesspor, had made an offer in October to take over the Red Devils. The two sides had been negotiating since then.
Eren had said that that he aimed to make Crawley and Kayseri 'sister clubs.'
With the good news, the official Crawley Town twitter account saw quite a significant surge of Turkish followers.
The club shared a tweet both in English and Turkish to welcome their new followers and thank them for the support.
