Every year, Regent's Park in London transforms into a foodie wonderland for five days of eating, drinking and entertainment as the world's greatest restaurant festival, Taste of London, returns for fantastic food, drinks and summer fun. This year's exhibition presents Turkey as a destination partner and Turkish traditional cuisine is attracting a great number of English visitors.
The Turkish food stand at the Taste of London brings the best of Turkish cuisine and English chefs are showing their skills cooking traditional Turkish food. Renowned English chef Ed Banies is expected to cook "hünkar beğendi" (lamb stew served on mashed eggplant) for visitors during a special show. Visitors can also taste famous deserts like Turkish baklava at the stand or watch Turkish chefs work their magic in the kitchen.
The four-day event is a great chance to taste world cuisine from different countries and the best restaurants while enjoying live music performances and art shows. Having started on June 15, the festival will end on Sunday.
