Qatar National Bank announced that they have been talking with the National Bank of Greece regarding the acquisition of its Turkey arm Finansbank. Yesterday, the National Bank of Greece also released a statement in the Public Disclosure Platform saying they will be negotiating with potential investors interested in Finansbank.
The bank said, in accordance with the assessment of strategic options, they will hold meetings with potential investors. Qatar National Bank also noted that there have been no concrete results yet. The National Bank of Greece currently holds 99.8 percent of Finansbank's shares.
