Talat Ulussever was unanimously elected board chairman of Borsa Istanbul. After Borsa Istanbul's former Chairman of the Board and General Director İbrahim Turhan resigned to run as a parliamentary candidate in the upcoming general elections, Hüseyin Zafer was temporarily appointed to the position by proxy. Halil Tunalı and Tuncay Dinç were also appointed to vacant board positions. The institution's new general manager will be appointed by the board.Holding a Ph.D. in finance, Ulussever lectured at several international universities including the U.S.'s Benedict College and Saudi Arabia's King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals. He has also written many articles and book critiques that have been published in various international publications.
