ISTANBUL — The Istanbul Gold Exchange Index lost 0.77 percent in value on Wednesday as gold was traded at 85,900 Turkish Lira per kilogram.

The trading volume in the gold market was 1.2 million Turkish Lira in two transactions, $44.384 million in 36 transactions, and 361,699 euros in two transactions.

The trading volume in the silver market was $969,969 in two transactions.
