Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Istanbul is ready to get fashionistas' pulses racing by sending the fine-tailored 2017 fall collections of designers down carpeted runways at Grand Pera, a prestigious culture and arts space at the heart of İstiklal Street. In its 9th edition, the runway shows will take place from March 21 to 24.
As in previous years, the runway shows bring together Turkey's well-known fashion designers as well as international and emerging talents. Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week has featured the collections of notable Turkish fashion designers including Özlem Kaya, Zeynep Tosun, Gül Ağış and Atıl Kutoğlu. The event supports talented people from different fields, proving that it is not just an organization for designers and brands to present their collections nor is it limited to runway and studio shows as side-events, taking place at the city's highlighted venues.
The runaway show is organized by IMG and supported by the Istanbul Readymade Garment and Apparel Exporters' Association (İHKİP), the Fashion Designers' Association (MTD), the United Brands Association of Turkey (BMD) and the Istanbul Fashion Academy (İMA).
