What does your 'do say about you?

We cut it, color it and style it to make ourselves stand out in the crowd

ISTANBUL Never judge a book by its cover, they say, and we're taught that actions speak louder than words, but it's undeniable that your outer appearance speaks before the words that come hurling out of your mouth, and your hairdo says as much about you as the clothes you choose to wear. Whether it is a religious statement, a thoughtless choice, or simply a fashion statement, your "do" says something about you Bed Head (Robert Pattinson): This is the do that tries hard to say "I don't." It is the guy who spends time in front of the mirror trying to look like he didn't. Often starting sentences with "I," the bed head often looks for reasons to take his shirt off, carries lip balm in his pocket and never really tries too hard for anything (except the perfectly messy hair). The Bieber Dreamer (Justin Bieber): They let you vote? So you're over 18? As cute as this mop top look may be, unless you're 12 leave it to the He-Man teen queen. The disturbingly pretty look is for the young boy who is still trying to figure out where he fits in. So, if you are 20-something and still trying to rock a Bieber look you may want to reconsider your next request when you sit in the barber's chair. Buzz Cut (Ceyhun Yılmaz): The shiny top may not have been your choice, but the fact that you have embraced it for what it is says you are realistic and know how to make the best of a bad situation. You may not be running your fingers through your hair like you just don't care, but you are also not wasting endless hours in front of the mirror gelling and moussing till you get it just right, leaving more time for the important things in life. The 'Fro (REDFOO): The fro screams Godgiven talent when it comes to fun and adventure. It is your fro that gets you all the invites to the cool parties. Aside from the fun loving fro that gets all the attention, you are a creative and optimistic individual who is able to work with what you have been given to support a "do" the way you do. However, under all that classy-clown act, there may lie an insecure kid that remembers the schoolyard name calling that fro attracted. The Jesus Cut (Legolos): Unless you are Jesus and on a mission, or Legolas the son of the Elf King, the long flowing, probably half balding look says nothing more than "I can't be bothered looking after myself, let alone you." If you want to make an impression, and not the wrong one, a gentleman's hair should not frazzle him when the wind blows, leaving him disorientated and slightly agitated. Mullet (Billy Ray Cyrus): Unless you are a fish monger from Iceland and need to wear your hair short in the front and long in the back to keep your neck warm against the North Atlantic spray, this do screams stuck in an era gone wrong. The mullet says, "It was fun once upon a time, but now I'm stuck and refuse to move forward because I fear my future has no hope." Undercut (Burak Özçivit): The envy of all men and the dream of all ladies, this do says you've got it all and you know how to work it. In touch with the times and very fortunate, the man who knows how to wear an undercut is often oozing with confidence and knows how to woo the ladies. The gentleman who wears the undercut is a fine balance of the sensitive new age guy (SNAG) and the masculine manly man who knows how to make a lady feel safe. But ladies, be careful with the undercut do'er for you don't want him hogging up the mirror.
