FRANKFURT — Hawaiian shirts are turning into a very popular fashion item for boys in Europe's stores. According to Germany's fashion trade journal, Textilwirtschaft, the flower-patterned shirts are selling well right now. Shirts with death's head patterns, or a combination of death's heads and flowers, are also proving popular with kids. Bell skirts are popular for girls, especially skirts with colorful patterns such as flowers, animals and stripes. Along with skirts, girls are also buying shorts for the summer and combining them with leggings in case they encounter colder spring days.
