Phenomenal singer to grace Istanbul stage
The soulful voice of Lebanese singer and lyricist Yasmine Hamdan will meet with her fans at Babylon tonight. Attracting the attention of music lovers with her song "Hal," she performed in "Only Lovers Left Alive," the movie by Jim Jarmusch. Hamdan gets inspired by figures like Kate Bush, Nick Cave and PJ Harvey.
Turning into an icon in the Arab World in 2000s with Soapkills, the first indie-electronic group of the Middle East, the artist is known for songs combining voices with ideas, and creating awareness.
