Dual celebration from Gidon Kremer and Kremerata Baltica

Foundedby Grammy award-winning violin virtuoso Gidon Kremer, one of the most impressive and unique artists in the world, Kremerata Baltica, who celebrated his 50th birthday with a gift to himself and the world of music 20 years ago, will once again greet fans in Istanbul as part of a world tour introducing the stars of the future. Celebrating his 70th birthday in tandem, the legendary Latvian artist will share the stage with violinist Clara-Jumi Kang, a rising star in classical music whose talent is extraordinary.
Clara-Jumi Kang, who was born and raised in a family of musicians in Germany and started playing violin at the age of 3, was educated by Valery Gradov as the youngest student enrolled in the Mannheim Musikhochschule at the age of 4. Highly gifted Kang, who was accepted to the Julliard School in New York with a full scholarship at the age of 7, has given concerts with elite ensembles such as Kang, Leipzig Gewandhaus, the Hamburg Symphony, the Kiel Philharmonic, the Nice Philharmonic, the Atlanta Symphony and the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra.
