Joanna Trzeciak comes to Leyla Gencer Opera and Art Center stage with her piano recital tonight. Pianist Trzeciak began her music education at the age of seven. She was one of the students who were sent to the Moscow Conservatory by the Polish government to specialize in musical instruments. Trzeciak kicked off her international musical career after she won the Polish Pianists Competition in 1980. She gave her first London concert in 1987 and set off for her first American tour in 1988. Apart from her concerts, the pianist also gave various masterclasses in many American universities.
