Photo exhibit focuses on social aggression

Turkey's first annual and most anticipated photography exhibition the 24th İFSAK Istanbul Photography Days continues at Demirören Istanbul. This year the event, which hosts national and international photographers, is taking place under the theme of "THANATOS - I am my only enemy." The theme suggests that the aggression which is caused by the fear of death is always present in human beings and it is not possible to wipe it out completely although it can be suppressed in many ways. However, order can be set only with an effective democracy and legal structure. Until Nov. 30, the 24th edition of İFSAK Istanbul Photography Days continues with a number of host panel sessions, forums and photo exhibitions. The event features various works by 13 Turkish and international photographers. Syrian photographer Issa Touma's work "Women Whom We Have Not Yet Lost" which portrays the Syrian drama is one of the works that stands out in the exhibitions. When: Until Nov. 30Where: Demirören İstiklal, Istanbul
