Friday, CreAtolye hosts a performance by Country For Syria. The band that blends American country classics with Middle Eastern rhythms is composed of musicians from Syria, the U.S., the Czech Republic, the U.K., Spain and Turkey. The main inspiration of the American country music, the civil war, hits Syria today. The project aims to raise awareness of the ongoing civil war in Syria by presenting the resemblance between a country's musical themes such as idleness, longing for home and the past, enthusiasm, loss and war with the current situation of Syria and Syrians.
