Italian director Franceso Bertolini's 1911 silent movie "L'Odissea" is the first silver screen adaptation of Homer's epic "Odyssey." The historic project which was realized as a part of the International Torino World Fair and the 50th anniversary of Italy's unification was characterized as "the messenger of a new era in the history of cinema which is an education factory."
