Founded in Istanbul in 2014, Fungistanbul launched their first album "Phenology" in March 2016 on digital music platforms. Formed as a nature, art and living project and movement, Fungistanbul is also the name of the band which features musicians that also participate to the other organization of this movement. Phenology which is the study of periodic plant and animal life cycle events and how these are influenced by seasonal and inter-annual variations in climate, as well as habitat factors is the source of inspiration for the band's first album. Moreover, amateur and professional photographers and art directors contributed and continue to contribute to the album's various visual and audial materials. The band will take the stage tomorrow at Living Room.
