Exhibit displays works by seven female artists
Karbon Gallery, which follows the latest examples of contemporary art and brings them together with art lovers, proudly presents its latest exhibition "Girls Girls Girls." Having opened its doors on Sept. 28, the exhibition features a total of 30 artworks by seven female artists. While Ardan Özmenoğlu is featured with her original printing technique and her installations created with post-its, Nebahat Karyağdı is featured with works that question good and bad, happiness and chaos, and hope and beginning. Artist Seçil Erel shows the unseen effects of architecture and existence on paintings, life, place and time; Funda Alkan, on the other hand, offers a glimpse of her genius with her installations created with ropes and orlon. Zeynep Solakoğlu creates stories with multi-patterns and multi colors on paper while Pınar Du Pre presents her works under the title of "Neo Popart," which she depicts as "progressive and modern." Additionally, Gözde Başkent puts her compositions on display in an attempts to create an uninhabited universe that has not yet been discovered.
