Pera Museum's classical music concert series "Classical Saturdays" continues with new performances. The third concert of the series that blends various disciplines will take place tomorrow under the art directorship of music writer Aydın Büke. One of the most talented pianists of new generation, Can Okan, who also conducts orchestras from time-to-time, will perform Mussorgsky's "Pictures at an Exhibition" and two earlier short pieces that the composer wrote for piano. The performance will be accompanied by a discussion with Okan and Büke on the composer's relationship with the piano. The "Classical Saturdays" concert series touches on various themes from instruments' production process to compositions inspired by paintings, and it will take place in the same area where the "Intersecting Worlds: Ambassadors and Painters" exhibition is currently on display.
