William Mastrosimone's thriller play "Extremities" will be performed on April 16 at the Barış Manço Cultural Center. A young woman is attacked both verbally and physically in her home by a would-be rapist, and manages to neutralize him so that the hunter becomes the hunted. When her roommate comes home, she only sees a woman torturing a man. After that moment, the reckoning begins for every character in the house. Can prejudice and learned despair in society turn a woman into a victim? The play, which is only for the audience over the age of 18, is directed by Yıldırım Fikret Urağ. Starring Zeynep Özyağcılar, Aydın Şentürk, Bahar Çebi and Simge Defne, the play was an off-Broadway play that opened at the Westside Theater in New York City on Dec. 22, 1982, and ran for 325 performances.
