Born in Israel in 1963, British jazz saxophonist, composer and author Gilad Atzmon will perform at COOP with his distinguished ensemble with Sarp Maden on guitar, Serkan Özyılmaz on keyboard, Mart Hall on bass and Derin Bayhan on drums. Atzmon's album "Exile" was called as the jazz album of the year by the BBC. He is known for her intense, spine-tingling Middle Eastern melodies. Atzmon has so far collaborated with musicians including Ian Dury, Sinead O'Connor, Paul McCartney, Robert Wyatt and Pink Floyd.Where: COOPWhen: March 15 at 10 p.m.
