Cameristi della Scala to perform at İş Sanat
Cameristi Della Scala will share the stage with Anna Vinnitskaya at İş Sanat in the new season. Founded by musicians from the Teatro alla Scala orchestra in 1982, the chamber orchestra of Cameristi della Scala shines with a repertoire including orchestral compositions from the 18th century to today, including lesser known Italian instrumental pieces of the 19th century. Their work with several famous conductors from Riccardo Muti to Daniel Barenboim played an important role in the musical timbre and development of the orchestra, which was granted the Isimbardi Prize from the Province of Milan in 2012 for their successful international activities. Anna Vinnitskaya attracted the attention of the international music world right away with her successful career, including winning first prize at the 2007 Queen Elizabeth Competition in 2007 and the Leonard Bernstein Award at the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival in 2008. She received a Diapason d'Or for both her 2009 debut album and her 2012 Ravel record, as well as the Echo Klassik Award in 2011 for her first orchestral album in collaboration with Deutsches Sinfonieorchester Berlin.When: Feb. 11, 8:30 p.m.Where: İş Sanat Culture Center
