Classical ensemble to perform in Bodrum

The Austria-based Trio Klavis will give its first concert in Turkey at the International Gümüşlük Classical Music Festival in Bodrum tomorrow. Three passionate musicians - pianist Sabina Hasanova, violinist Jenny Lippl and Miha Ferk on saxophone - both arrange and compose. Deriving its name from German: "Klavier, Violine, Saxophon," Trio Klavis will be performing at the Gümüşlük Antique Stone Quarry. Having roots in Azerbaijan, Slovenia, Austria, Russia, Mexico, Croatia and Turkey, the musicians perform not only their own compositions but also the work of master composers like Astor Piazzolla and Johannes Brahms. Among them, Hasanova was born into a Russian family in Baku and grew up in different parts of Turkey. The trio is highly praised by internationally renowned Russian violinist Aleksey Igudesman. When: TuesdayWhere: Gümüşlük Antique Stone Quarry, Bodrum
