Fatih Municipality will open the Istanbul Photography Museum with four exhibitions for art lovers. The exhibition will last until July 30. Twenty photographs from all around the world, taken by Ali Borovalı, are displayed at the museum for the first time. The "Ice" depicts the current effects of global warming - the icecaps which are getting smaller and melting. "My research started in 1997 and it lasted for 18 years. The photos involve the important icecaps - Greenland, Iceland, Svalbard (the islands located in The Arctic Ocean, Norwegian territorial) and Patagonia, which is located south of Argentina and Chile. The photos aim to show the beauty of the places that I worked at," says Ali Borovalı.
