Fire of Anatolia to hit Aegean coast


For those on vacation on the Aegean coast, Turkey's famous dance group Anadolu Ateşi (Fire of Anatolia) is a perfect choice for an entertaining night. Fire of Anatolia started their Turkey tour this summer and will stop in Aydın for an unforgettable performance. Synthesizing Turkish folkdance with ballet and modern dance and music from different regions of Anatolia, the group reflects Anatolia's ancient myths, folklore and cultural history. Founded in 1999, Fire of Anatolia performs under the artistic directorship of Mustafa Erdoğan. All dancers are given special training including theoretical instruction on the notation of Anatolian rhythms.
