The 2nd edition of Plays and Toys Festival will take place this Saturday, on June 13 at Ankara's Kocatepe Park. Organized by the Ankara Toy Library to mark the World Play Day, the festival will cover different events and workshops for children. At the end of the day, children will enjoy themselves with concert performances. The event wants children to learn traditional plays and transfer them to future generations. Additionally, the festival aims to raise awareness toward the 31th and 32th articles of the Convention on the Rights of the Child specifying that "children have the right to relax and play, and to join in a wide range of cultural, artistic and other recreational activities." The festival committee invites all children, especially those who cannot enjoy this right properly.
