Immigrants, most of who are positioned in a different section of society, have to make excessive sacrifices to adapt themselves to a foreign community. They generally suffer difficulties in migration, the migration process and adapting themselves to their new home. In this process, they have to face the feeling of acceptance. This is why immigrants can exhibit different reactions to their new life, but society can also react differently toward immigrants. To raise awareness of migration issues and the problems of immigrants, the exhibition "Kabullenme" (Acceptance) began on May 14. Initiated by the Independent Immigrant Artists Initiative, the exhibition invites artists from different disciplines to present their work. The exhibition underscores how immigration has become a common issue in our lives, and it will run through the end of this week.
