The insightful documentary "Eco-Polis" addressed director Anna-Karin Grönroos's dream from two different perspectives. When 1 billion rural Chinese move to cities, our planet will change irreversibly. Finnish designer and former politician Eero Paloheimo and Chinese businessman Zhang Yue have come to believe that they can change the world by reinventing the city from the ground up. However, Paloheimo and Yue's plans are very different from each other. Yue is considering building the tallest and most ecological building on earth, an eco-city in the shape of a skyscraper. On the other hand, Poloheimo, who designs a unique "laboratory city", wants to initiate his design in a valley outside of Beijing.
