Classical music duo to meet Ankara audience


Violinist Hasan Niyazi Tura and pianist Özgür Ünaldı met during military service and decided to perform together. They conducted their first rehearsals in the military base and later took to the stage in Istanbul and Eskişehir. This time, renowned musicians will play the best piano and violin pieces of Beethoven, Cesar Franck, Bela Bartok and Yalçın Tura, the well-known composer and musicologist father of Hasan Tura, in Ankara. Pianist Ünaldı has appeared in Rome, Sarajevo, Moscow, Kiev and Bucharest for international festivals. He started his musical education at the age of 7 and came in second at the 17th International Johannes Brahms Competition in 2010. Studying at Mimar Sinan University Conservatory, violinist Tura debuted with the Cemal Reşit Rey Symphonic Orchestra under the baton of Rengim Gökmen. He continues to work as a conductor at the Doğuş Symphonic Children Orchestra and perform in the Presidential Symphony Orchestra.
