One of the prominent virtuosos of contemporary music, Tasmin Little, will perform with the Cemal Reşit Ret (CRR) Symphony Orchestra on March 28. The renowned artist will perform Sibelius Violin Concerto, one of the most important concertos for violin, during the concert. Little has given concerts on three continents at prestigious venues including Carnegie Hall, Musikverein, Concertgebouw, Philharmonie, Vienna Konzerthaus, South Bank Centre, Royal Albert Hall and Lincoln Center. She has also performed with internationally acclaimed orchestras such as the Berlin Symphony, Hong Kong Philharmonic, London Symphony Orchestra, London Philharmonic, New York Philharmonic, Seattle Symphony, Singapore Symphony, Western Australia Symphony and all BBC Orchestras. She has hosted many master's class, conducted social responsibility projects and has given numerous international concerts and recitals. Little, who has an extensive discography, also introduced the compositions of contemporary composers such as Willem Jeths, Robin de Raaf, Stuart MacRae, Robert Saxton and Dominic Muldowney. Her performance of composer Roxanna Panufnik's "Four World Seasons" was broadcasted on the BBC as part of the 2012 London Olympics' Music Nation. Little is also the representative of many foundations for children and art, such as the Prince Foundation. Moreover, she has received honoree degrees from universities including Bradford, Leicester, Hertfordshire and City of London.
