The chamber music group "Il vento canta Ensemble" will interpret the pieces of Classical and Romantic-era composers during their Notre Dame de Sion High School concert next week. Featuring Jesus Vicente Monzo and Jose Pons Boils on trombone and Carlos Perez on Piano, the ensemble is greatly influenced by Austrian composers such as Johann Georg Albrechtsberger, W.A. Mozart, Georg Christoph Wagenseil and trombonist Thomas Gschaltto. Soprano Teresa Novoa and Beatriz Riobo Agulla will accompany the ensemble. The concert repertoire will feature Giulio Caccini's "Ave Maria," Franz Schubert's "Auf dem Strom," Ciro Pinsuti's "Memory," George Frederic Handel's "Lascia ch'io pianga" and Mozart's "Agnus Dei."
