Iglesias includes Turkey in his last world tour


As a part of his last world tour, best-selling Latin singer Julio Iglesias will be visiting Istanbul with a special concert program. Turkey is the fourth leg of his concert tour that kicked off in Brazil. The legendary Latin artist will mesmerize his fans with his romantic and enjoyable songs. One of the most successful touring musicians around, Iglesias has released over 80 albums and sold over 300 million albums. In 2013, he set a Guinness World Records as the best-selling male Latin artist of all time with more than 250 million albums sold worldwide. He also received the only Diamond Disc ever given by the institution. Through his 45-year musical career he has received many awards including multiple Grammys. He holds an American Music Award and the prestigious ASCAP Pied Piper Award, the highest award from the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers, also given to Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald and Barbra Streisand. Iglesias has had 60 million viewers and given 5,000 concerts in 600 cities. He was named goodwill ambassador to UNICEF in 1989. With his hits such as "Gwendolyne," "La Paloma" and "Je Ne Pas Change," Iglesias has appeared in several music festivals and topped the music charts. He has influenced fans not only with his music, but also with his inspirational life. Iglesias was involved a car accident leaving him semi-paralyzed. With little hope, he was ambitious enough to recover from it. Iglesias has featured in duets with many famous artists, such as Frank Sinatra, Diana Ross, Dolly Parton, Art Garfunkel, Paul Anka, Charles Aznavour, Sting, The Beach Boys and Placido Domingo.
