Young artist Ezgi Cömert's second solo exhibition "Emotions Resisting Time," will make city dwellers who are gradually moving away from nature and witnessing its disappearance, question their environment. Cömert explores the life-struggle of plants and animals and reflects them, by using dye and organic materials without digital printing techniques. Her patterns illustrate a powerful side of the exhibition, and Cömert has created her art without the preliminary design phase or fictional creations, which give them a different perspective and unique, non-repetitive features. The solo exhibition opened on Jan. 6 and will remain on display at Galeri/Miz until Jan. 26. Cömert, who began painting at a young age, uses her senses to question the subconscious and instincts, which is reflected in her works.
