Photos of post-1989 Poland to shock you


Milli Reasürans Art Gallery will present a photography exhibition "Shock Therapy: Transformation Photos from Poland after 1989," marking the 600th year of diplomatic relations between Poland and Turkey on Oct. 15. Curated by Adam Manzur, the exhibition is organized by Adam Mickiewicz Institute, Poland's Culture and Cultural Heritage Ministry and Fundacja Nowy Dzien Foundation. Manzur introduces the best photos witnessing the last 25 years of Poland by professional photographers such as Anna Beata Bohdziewicz, Kuba Dabrowski, Elzbieta Janicka, Witold Krassowski, Chris Niedenthal, Konrad Pustola, Szymon Roginski, Tadeusz Rolke, Wojtek Wieteska and Wojtek Wiczyk. Visitors will have the chance to explore the transformations that Poland has gone through since 1989.
