The ninthÇeşme Book and Culture-Art Days begin today. Co-organized by the Municipality of Çeşme and Ozan Publications, the event will take place in the Hagia Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church. Within the framework of the event, there will be exhibitions from the collections of Kedi Culture and Art Center, Istanbul Museum of Graphic Arts and photographer Arzu Sandal. Moreover, on July 29, "White Jazz Street" poem and music performances will take place with Halim Yazıcı and Muhsin Kıratlı making contributions.
The event will continue until Aug. 10. Japanese pianist Mizuka Kano will take the stage at the Alaçatı Piano Festival among other classic and jazz pianists. Music lovers will have the opportunity to watch Kano perform live at Alaçatı Open Air Theater on July 30 at 9 p.m. Birsen Tezer will perform at Bostanlı Suat Taşer Open Air Theater today at 9.30 p.m. with Erkan Oğur joining her as a guest performer. Combined painting exhibition "Temmuzda" (On July) can be visited until July 26 at the Historical Coal Gas Factory Culture Center in İzmir. Cansu Çelebi Erol, Elif Karaaslan, Kadriye Nur Yeniler, Merve Güven, Mustafa Yüce, Nagihan Yıldız, Naile Ayar, Rugul Serbest, Sedat Güzey and Tarık Gök's works can be seen on display at the exhibition.
