If you are curious to find out, a unique exhibition and workshop called "Dialogue in the Dark" offers you an opportunity to enter into the world of visually impaired people.The concept is to reverse the roles.Visitors are welcomed by blind guides and are taken into specially designed rooms depicting basic characteristics of daily life in terms of scent, sound, wind and texture, such as a park or a bar. Visitors are taken out of their secure environment and transmitted into the world of the blind. The tours last about one hour, yet effects may well last a lifetime.Over the last 20 years, the concept has proven to be very effective and gained popularity. The exhibit was curated in 30 countries and 130 cities since its opening in 1998. With more than 7 million visitors worldwide, it remains a once in a lifetime experience.The tours are also organized in both Turkish and English.
