Three UK leaders resign in just 52 minutes after poor election results


Britain's three top party leaders have resigned from their posts barely an hour after official election results were announced on Friday.Prime Minister David Cameron of the Conservative Party have won a landslide victory in the 2015 UK general elections and increased the party's MPs to 331 while eliminating the need to form a coalition with the support of a coalition partner.The first to make his resignation public was the leader of the UK Independence Party, Nigel Farage. Shortly after, the Liberal Democrat Leader Nick Clegg stepped down as his party was routed at the general election. The last leader to resign was Ed Miliband of the Labour Party who admit the crushing defeat and quit.The resignation of three major party leaders in less than 52 minutes, went down in media as '52 minutes which shook Britain'.
