A distress call has been sent out via the European emergency number 112 by a ship with several passengers on board.The ship is sailing west off the Greek island of Corfu.Italian coast guards alerted the Greek authorities. Two helicopters, which took off from Corfu, are expected to reach the ship soon. According to the ministry's operation room, illegal migrants are said to be on board.There are no specific details on the number of passengers.
