Adnan Polat, the CEO of Istanbul-based Polat Holding, has announced that they have decided to invest $1 billion over the next five years in wind energy. "We will become the best in Europe in wind energy. When we reach 20,000 megawatts of wind energy, which can be established with an investment of $1 billion, the government will pay $6 billion less for natural gas," Polat said.
