Energy Minister Taner Yıldız said that Turkey has agreed on a win-win price with Algeria regarding Turkey's purchase of 4 billion cubic meters of liquefied natural gas to meet requirements, which is particularly high during winter months.
He made the announcement during a joint press-conference with his Algerian counterpart, Youcef Yousfi.
Yousfi noted that Algeria does not want to confine cooperation with Turkey only to energy, but to expand their partnership in all fields including industry, tourism and agriculture.
"We wish to conduct joint energy projects with Turkish companies in the production and exploration of petrochemicals and other products," he added.
